On Oct. 20, 2017, Meishi hosted CISA Field Day in the playground. Grade 4&5 students from Leman, CDIS, QSI and Meishi participated in it.
Field Day, sometimes referred to as sports day, are events staged by many schools and offices in which people take part in competitive sporting activities, often with the aim of winning trophies or prizes. Though they are often held at the beginning of summer, they are also staged in the autumn or spring seasons. It is usually held in elementary schools, or grades Kindergarten-8th Grade.
Games that were played on field day were wide and varied. It included hula competition, jump rope, tug of war as well as egg and spoon races. Three legged races were run as well as wheelbarrow races. Students had great fun and were looking forward to the next event.
